Handling of art works

• We may make modifications on the work only if the work may cause trouble in the printing process or to other publishers.
• We do not guarantee the colors of the actual outputs.
• The work submitted will be published on the Portfolio for which we have received an application.
• The copyright of the work belongs solely to a creator of the work. We do not either transfer or use the work without permission.
• In case we publish the work on the media outside of the Portfolio for which we have received an application, we will inform in advance.
• In case the work submitted should be found unpublished on the Portfolio for which we have received an application due to the mishandlings by the Portfolio Office, we will contact the creator (the applicant in charge) and promise to publish on the following or later issue.
• In case the work constitutes infringement on copyright, image right or other violation of laws, Adlab Ltd. Publishing Office, Printing Company and Production Company will bear no responsibility.
• The genre of the work is free of constraints. However, it is within the scope of common sense that Adlab Ltd. has the authority to judge.
• In the case that the work submitted is deemed obviously inappropriate for publishing, we may decline the publication of the work.
• The works which we may decline to publish include those whose contents are too violent or too sexual and deemed irrelevant to creativity or artistic quality.
• The Portfolio is issued as the arena for publishing and presenting the art works, where we do not particularly control the commercial activities such as listing the price next to the work, listing the place of sale or advertisement for another exhibition. However, we would appreciate your understanding that it is basically a place for art presentation, and keep that in mind when submitting your work.
• In case the Portfolio Office receives inquiries as to the published works, we may reach the applicant by the contact number or provide it to the inquirer.
• In case the Portfolio Office receives a request for commercial use of the published work, we will inform the applicant responsibly. We will not pass over the data, etc. without notice.
• In case the Portfolio Office receives a request for commercial use of the published work, Adlab Ltd. will not charge for commission. However, if expenses for official work and actual cost exceed a certain level, we may charge those expenses to the applicant.
• In case the Portfolio Office receives a request for commercial use of the published works, if the creator needs a mediator, production assistance, or collaborating assistance with other industries, we will provide assistance if requested. Feel free to consult us.
• We will not inform the applicant when we receive a request for a design or production that is not for his/her personal work but for Portfolio Office, Adlab Ltd. or administrating agency. However, Portfolio Office may outsource the services to a creator.
